Hey everyone, it's ME....Reid! Mommy has been very busy lately and has been a little slack about updating everyone on my progress (don't tell her I said that). I love her very much and wouldn't want to hurt her feelings...but it's true! So...I had to take over for a minute...and for good reason too! It's my 3 month birthday! Can you believe it? Me either! Seems like all I do is eat, sleep and make funny faces at everyone and before I knew it...I was 3 months!
This family is pretty cool so far. I have 2 older brothers who love me and are always talking to me. They are a little crazy at times, but I'm sure I will be too if I hang around with them. They try to pick me up by themselves from time to time (and let me tell you it makes me nervous) but so far everything has been great. They really do protect me and ask how my day is all the time.
Mommy went back to work this week. I tried telling her I would be just fine, but then I remembered that I can't talk yet :( She had a rough day on Monday, but she did much better the rest of the week! I was so proud of her! I love my daycare :) My teachers are so nice and give me lots of love throughout the day. And I can tell I'm going to learn a lot there from all the other bigger babies in there. It's going to be so fun and I'm sure we'll keep you updated along the way. Toodles for now! I need to go get my snooze on before my next meal :) Hugs to all!

Pumpkin Patch
Not much to say here...just a wonderful time with family at the pumpkin patch this year. I must say...Derrick, Melissa, Hannah and Nathan are our family away from home. We couldn't be luckier and I'm so grateful God picked them to be in our lives. We don't get to spend as much time together as we used to, but we always have a great time none the less. We love you guys! Can't wait to take another great vacation together next year hopefully!!

Sweet Baby Toes
Is there anything cuter??? This is what I saw peeking out of the blankets while Reid was playing in his swing. Had to grab the camera!! I will try my hardest to have pictures of all 3 boys...not just the first :) I know it can never be equal...but I'll try my hardest!
So back to the toes. I might just miss this the most when I have no babies left...as they all grow up. Don't think I'm crazy, but I love to rub baby toes on my cheeks. They are so soft! I showed Justin this and he looked at me like I was crazy! Believe me...I don't do this with other people's kids..just my own boys when we play. I've done it to all 3 of them (when they were infants) and just this time showed Justin. I thought he might like to rub the soft little toes on his cheeks, but he didn't understand :) It's kind of like my love affair with chomping on their squishy cheeks. It's just the little things I will miss as they get bigger. They are only this little once...when they are older they might not take kindly to me chomping on their cheeks or kissing their toes. haha!!!
If you're reading this...let me know the little silly things you used to do with your little babies that you miss :)
Hello World!!
Hello blog world! We're still here...just not on the computer that much. With the nursing and loving on my baby it doesn't leave much time for blogging. When faced with the decision of a shower or blogging...my normal choice is a shower and I think everyone would thank me for that!! Especially Justin and the boys :) Haha! So...I have a few minutes while I'm waiting for Reid to fall asleep before rushing to take a shower...so I figured I would upload a few pics!
How are the boys doing you ask? Still doing great! I even snuck a few pics of Aiden playing with Reid yesterday...and then again this morning both boys were loving on him while I got my shoes on. I love the times they play with him on their own accord...not just because I ask them if they want to hold him. They both look after him so well and think of them as "our" baby...not just mommy and daddy's baby. It's so sweet to watch!
This is Aiden's first time picking him up all by himself. Mommy has been a bit protective since Reid can't hold his head great yet...but since Aiden was on the bed I let him do it all by himself and he was awesome!! So gentle and loving. Such a sweet boy!
Reid loves when Aiden talks to him! Isn't this the cutest thing!
Max and Aiden both talking to Reid this morning before school. You can't see it here, but Reid loves them and focuses on them so well when they talk to him. He definitely knows them and smiles at them! Can't wait to watch all 3 of them interact with each other as they get older.

Hangin Out
We're not doing a whole lot of anything lately other than getting some house projects done and just hanging out and enjoying ourselves. Not much to blog other than we are all happy and healthy :) Boys are doing GREAT with Reid and we're getting adjusted to our new little family of 6 (5 humans and we can't leave Brody out). So...just so I don't leave the blog alone too much...here are a few pics :)
We do get out of the house every once in a while. The boys and I went to the zoo for a birthday party. We got to see the animals after the party and this was too cute to pass up! I know they argue and pick on each other...but they really do love each other. It melts my heart!
And to celebrate our 8th anniversary, Justin and I went out to dinner. Normally I would say it was too early for a date night, but anniversaries are different. It was nice to have some adult time. I was tempted to drink some wine on the special occasion, but I knew I would fall asleep on the table. Maybe once Reid starts sleeping through the night I can have some. We had a great time...even if we were sleep deprived :)
So what do Reid and I do during the day when we aren't nursing?? Sometimes sleep...sometimes eat and at other times we just look at each other. He's so precious I'm just trying to soak up all the baby time I can. I know these 12 weeks off work will go by too quickly!!
I can't get enough of him! He's 1 month old already! Hope you enjoyed the pics :) See you in a few days with more pics I'm sure!!

Reid is 3 Weeks Old!!
How is it going you might ask?? Great! He's healthy, happy, eating good, sleeping great (for his age...not for ours :)) so I really can't ask for much more. Both boys are extremely happy to have him here and not showing any signs of jealousy. They understand the feeding schedule and that mommy was sore from her surgery and were very good listeners about climbing on mommy or Reid. Now that the c-section pain is getting behind us, life is starting to get back to normal for us. Well...as 'normal' as it can be when we're adjusting to another little being in our world :) But overall I would say it has been an easier adjustment...mostly because he's such a laid back baby. I didn't think babies could get any easier than Aiden, but Reid is giving him a run for his money!!
As for me...I'm doing well. Not feeling 100% back to Rachel, but I would say I'm about 95% there. Still a few hormonal moods here and there, but then again it has been rainy and dreary this week so maybe it's from the weather.
Justin started back to work today so little by little we're getting back to the real world. I'm just glad I have 9 more weeks until I have to go back to my 'real world'. I'm enjoying my time at home with all my boys and plan to do a lot of sewing and relaxing with Reid. I don't want the next 9 weeks to be too busy...I really want to savor the last time we'll have a itty bitty snuggly baby around. so...with that said...I must go love on Reid for a little while. Toodles!!
This picture makes me laugh...looks like he's growing out of a blanket :)
At first I thought he was another little Max, but this week I am seeing Aiden in him. Who knows who he will favor...but I know he'll be perfect in his own way. He's Reid...and he's perfect!!

Who does Reid Look LIke??
The biggest question we get is "Who does Reid look like?" It's hard because Reid does not look like Aiden or Max (as they look today). However, Reid DOES look very similar to Max's pictures at the same age. Here are a few pics...
The top two pictures are pics of Max around 2 weeks old.... And the bottom two pics are of Reid around two weeks old. Nobody seems to remember Max's dark hair either...but he sure did have it! I do think Reid has more dark hair though... However...Max's head was bigger than Reid's so you can see Max already looked much bigger at the same age ;)
I guess we'll just see in a few weeks who he starts to look like...

Update on the Fleming Boys :)
First things first...my little (big) man started kindergarten :) They have been in school for several weeks and he's loving it! He didn't even skip a beat when mommy had little Reid. So far...great student! I couldn't be more proud of little "A".
With Aiden having a 'big day', we couldn't leave little Max out of the fun. His gift for being completely potty trained and without accidents for a few months was a new BIKE!! We were late in getting the bike, but it actually turned out to be perfect timing with Aiden starting school and Reid's birth. It gave Max something to look forward to on the calendar :) So...daddy and I took Max to Toys R Us (a.k.a. the bike store as Max would call it) for our very own date and he got to pick out his brand new bike! He picked Toy Story of course! Great job Max!! You're such a big boy now! We're so proud of you!
Of course he's in his PJ's because he couldn't wait to ride it! Not even long enough to change his clothes :)
And of course....the birth of Reid!! We've been pretty busy around here :) Here's a pic after one of his baths, which he's not to fond of. But come to think of it...none of the boys like the bath until they could sit in the water. I guess it's just too cold when you can't sit in the water!!
And with school comes homework! This week Aiden had his very first homework assignment. Of course he tried to go play before homework, but he has the rules down now. He's so grown up!
Max is really taking to his 'big brother' role. He ALWAYS has to check on Reid, make sure mommy is feeding him right and try to help out in any way he can. We found him keeping Reid company the other day...too cute!
Here's Reid...2 weeks old already!
And here's Reid relaxing in his swing. Do you see something odd? Yes...that is Brody's tennis ball. He keeps sitting it in Reid's swing and then staring at him. We can only imagine what is going through Brody's mind..."Throw the ball boy!! You have hands like the rest of them...throw it!". Poor Brody...he's trying to get attention where ever he can. I think Brody is having more trouble sharing attention than the boys are!

Ready for Reid!
Here we are...the nursery is finally complete (minus a few prenatal pics and newborn pics to be added when Reid is here). My beginning vision was chocolate brown and apple green. When looking for fabric for the baby quilt I decided to add the blue and orange. I'm so glad I did because I absolutely LOVE the nursery! It's just what I imagined and I actually got it all done in time!! Woo hoo!! Now we're ready to welcome baby Reid into the family...complete with his own little nest. And I must say...it's the first completely finished room in the house! Now back to working on the other rooms :)
Monogram bought from Etsy. And somehow I actually got it on the wall straight without crying!!
Left over fabric framed to add more color to the room. The walls are "French Roast" by Sherwin Williams just in case you love the color as much as I do!
Reid's completed baby quilt! And I have to say...this is the first quilt I actually get to keep :) All the other quilts I have done were for nieces and nephews so I only got to enjoy them for a few days before giving them as gifts. Now back to working on Aiden's quilt and starting one for Max!!
Another pic of the finished bumper pad. The boys had to add some sleep friends to the crib for Reid. Most of these were their sleep friends that they wanted to share with him. So sweet!
View from the corner. First time for making the tissue balls...not too bad!
View from the door way. I made the owl with leftover fabric and the boys helped me stuff it. They had a blast!
Up close of the blue owl...we made an orange owl too!
Another picture of the completed quilt...
First time for piecing the back of the quilt. Left over fabric pieces made a cute design on the back. So glad I added it so you can see the fabric colors on both sides! This was also my first time making the binding and all :)
A view from the corner by the crib. As you can see, Brody loves the room too. He even brought in his orange toy to share with Reid. Even he picked up on the color theme!! Good dog Brody!
