Part 2 of Disney - Magic Kingdom

Here we are...at the happiest place on earth!  I know some of you may think we're geeky for getting 'Disny-fied', but the kids loved it and so did we!  If you can't get geeky at Disney...where can you?  haha!  We had a blast and already can't wait for our next trip.  The memories are priceless!

The Flemings (minus 1) and McNeals - Disney 2012

We made the shirts.  Super easy!  Get some wonder under, fabric of choice, design of your choice - iron on and sew around the edges.  Can't get much easier than that!  Think of the possibilities for birthday shirts, holiday shirts....can't wait to make more for the boys!

Can you just hear his giggle!?  I love this pic...even if it's a little blurred...makes you feel like you are on the ride still...

Do you think they are having a good time??

You can't go to Disney and NOT ride Dumbo!

Friends from the beginning....two peas in a pod...

Getting ready to ride the Great Goofini!  A roller coaster the perfect size for Max.

Even before this trip, the boys have been pretty consistent that they are going to be race car drivers.  (Hence Max's race car birthday in a few days).  So of course we COULD NOT pass up the Grand Prix!

 Where's Max???

 There he is!!!  Look closely!

Dreams do come true!  Never stop dreaming!

Post 1 of DISNEY!!!

As promised to many friends and family members...here come the Disney pics!!  As we have 1000 pictures I won't bore you with all the details of our trip, but I have picked out a few to give you the highlights!  Definitely one of the highlights in my mind will be the look on their faces each time we saw something new and hearing those cute little voices saying "Dreams DO come true!" from the back of the van as we drove up to our hotel.  This trip was A TON of fun.  All four kids are so deserving and they were very appreciative!  I know I am biased...but I think these 4 kids are some of the best!  I couldn't have been any prouder of any of them with the way they acted during the whole trip...even when they were wiped out.  So...without further delay...here's DISNEY!!!  The most magical place on earth!!!

All our bags packed and ready to load into the Suburban! I think we did pretty good.  Oh...there were 3 strollers on top of this...

Here we are the train station in Raleigh to go to the 'cabin'.  The kids didn't know until the next morning where we were ACTUALLY going.  When we finally told them, they were in shock.  They didn't believe us at first...they just stared and said "are you serious?", but when it sank in they were super excited!  Our first day was spent around the resort swimming and just hanging out.  Getting ready for the busy days ahead!

We're HERE!!!  First park...Animal Kingdom!  and the kids had to sport their handmade shirts from yours truly.  The kids looked super cute and we had compliments all day long!  They were very easy to make :)

Poor Max didn't quite make the minimum height requirement for some rides...as you can see he was within less of 1/4 inch.  Don't worry...he magically grew overnight (haha) and was able to ride the rides the remainder of the week.  He had 'special shoes' :)

One of our favorite shows...Finding Nemo.  It's hard to get good pics...but at least you can see a little of the amazing costumes.  It was awesome!

Max couldn't quite make it back to the hotel and because of this little nap, he didn't rest later.  Not to worry...his batteries charge pretty fast and he was ready to go!

The boys at the Tree of Life.  Such cute brothers...

For the 2nd half of the day we went to Magic Kingdom.  The kids got a sneak peek and couldn't wait to go back on another day!

Day 2 started off really early!  Chef Mickey's at 7 am...which means an early start with transportation and all.  Amazingly, the boys didn't mind the early morning at all!

On our way to Epcot!  A little time with my man!

Lucky for us, all the flowers were in bloom at Epcot.  They are absolutely amazing!!!

Max showing his true personality!  It's so terrible that he doesn't have a sense of humor!

Hannah holding up the HUGE golf ball!  I don't have pics of Miss Hannah's character breakfast, but she started her day off with all the princesses at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and even got her picture with Belle (one of her favorites)!!

I'm terribly slack on posting pics!  But I will be posting some pics of our Disney trip this week.  In the mean time, here are a few pictures of Reid and his visit to Nana Jane and Pap Pap while we were at the most magical place on earth.  We missed him terribly, but at the same time LOVED our time with the older boys.  And they loved getting to do 'big boy' stuff.  Reid won't be too far behind them.  He's trying his best to keep up with them...he's already fast at crawling and pulling himself up on anything and everything.  So needless to say, it's a little busy at out house these days!!

Reid and Great Pap Smith...ages 8 months and almost 94 years old.  He's the youngest 94 year old I know!!

Miss Liea taking great care of her little cousin.  He won't be little too much longer!

7 Months Old!

Reid is 7 months old!  He is sitting up by himself, rolling everywhere, eating lots of baby food and trying his best to get up on his knees to rock back and forth.  He's not quite there but it won't be long.  This boy wants to MOVE!!  Even though he's not crawling he definitely gets where he wants to go by scooting, rolling, wiggling and anything else he has to.  He likes to talk to...especially to his brothers.  They can make him smile and laugh better than anyone...except for daddy when he gets his tickle spot.  When daddy gets that tickle spot on his side...he does the cutest belly laugh ever!

And the newest thing Reid is working on...his first tooth...or should I say teeth.  We've been checking every day.  He's drooling crazy and he pus EVERYTHING in his mouth (in addition to his fingers that he's always loved).  I can distinctly feel two teeth on the bottom just waiting to poke through.  So I guess he's going to be like his big brother, Max, and get his teeth in sets.  As excited as we are for him to be out of pain...I'll miss his little toothless grin.  I think our days are numbered, so we better get pics while we can!  But then again...a mouth with two little teeth on the bottom will be just as adorable!!!

Reid says he can't believe he's 7 months either!!!  He said it seems like just yesterday he was rockin the mid-night hours.

For some reason this night I put him down to sleep and he was all about laughing and moving all over his crib.  So of course I grabbed the camera.  Surprisingly he went straight off to sleep after we played a little :)  I couldn't have gotten an easier baby!  Of course I say he's easy...but I really do think Baby Wise has so much to do with it.  3 babies, 3 baby wise schedules....3 happy babies with great sleep and eating schedules.  When everyone is rested...everything is better!  I can't thank Melissa enough for telling me about the Baby Wise book and I recommend it to everyone!!!

Look at all that cuteness!!!  And he's all mine!! (well...I guess I'll share him with Justin and the boys)

A bit blurry because he was moving so much.  I took several more pics...but most were blurry because of the low light and he was so busy!

March Was a Blur!!

Before you know it...it's been a month since I've last blogged!  A lot has happened around here. Reid has continue to grow and get his own personality, I started a new job, Aiden started t-ball, a few cake orders, we celebrated my 34th birthday and overall had a lot of great family time!  Sometimes we're a little slack on picture taking because we get caught up in the moment...but we were able to catch a few this month.  Here are some random pics...Enjoy!

This is Aiden's personality.  I came out from the bedroom to find him with this on doing a rap dance.  He cracks me up!!  I never know what my day is going to end up like with these boys!!!  One thing I can count on is LOTS of laughter and smiles!

Then they go to crazy to sweet.  I found them cuddling watching cartoons on Saturday morning while I was making breakfast.  I hope this sweetness lasts forever!!

A little snuggle time with my ittle one.

 Sitting up all by himself!

When I bring the camera out he normally gets his serious look on his face.  So I have to wait until he starts playing to show everyone his adorable smile!  He has such a wonderful laid back personality...such a cuddle bug!

6 MonthsOld!!!

I sound like a broken record these days.... "where did the time go?", "he's growing so fast!", "it was just yesterday that we had him!", "time flies!"....BUT IT'S TRUE!  I remember when Aiden was little and I couldn't wait for him to get to the next phase and a woman told me "Don't wish your life away".  At the time I thought time went so much slower that it wasn't possible to wish your life away...I just looked forward to so much with him!  I still do look forward to times with the boys as they get bigger and enter each new phase, but I have most definitely learned (in my old age) to not wish my life away.  It's fine to look forward to things...but don't wish for the current stage to pass.  Because without a doubt...this precious, sweet and tender phase will pass all too soon and we will forever be wanting to hold our precious little babies again.

So...as Reid marks his 1/2 year birthday today...I have mixed emotions.  So proud of him and all he's learned to do...but sad because I know it's going by way too fast.  He's a 1/2 a year old and I don't think it should be possible!!!  So...if you don't see me blogging as much or on facebook....it's because I'm soaking up my cuddles when I get free time.  All my boys will be my precious little babies (at least in my eyes)...but they will only let me cuddle them for so long.  I don't want to wish my life away....or my cuddles away.  As tiring or trying some days may be...just soak in a little of them each day and remember they are only at this age once.

So....as I wipe my eyes (hehe), what has Reid been doing you ask??  He's rolling with the best of them, starting to reach for us, saying 'da da', making all new sounds with his mouth and just making all of us smile every day.  As he gets more mobile, the boys enjoy him more and more.  I love watching the 3 of them together.  They are so tender towards him...I can just pray it remains this way (all of us can have hope right?!)  Enjoy the pics!

If Aiden or Max are in the room, good luck trying to get Reid's attention.  He is absolutely smitten with those two!!  Can you tell?

Brody knows his job.  He's always right by the boys and he is so patient with them!  Reid will roll into him, grab his hair and push into his face and he just acts like it's part of his job.  Such a great boy Brody!  How are we so blessed?  It just doesn't seem fair....but I am so grateful to God for all he has provided us.

And here he is sucking on his fingers...his favorite thing to do!  Not such a big paci fan...but LOVES those fingers!

And here's Reid and Marlin playing together.  I'm sure they will be close cousins as they grow together.  There's 5 months between them...so as you can see, Reid has his work cut out for him.  Catching up to Marlin is going to be quite the job for him!  They are both so CUTE!!!!
